Advisor Appreciation Day, on April 21, is an annual observance to celebrate the role of advisors in the education sector.
The education system of the U.S. has been in use since the 1700s. It aims to appreciate the work of education advisors. Education advisors are academic counselors or consultants for students going to or in college. They help students choose majors, apply for scholarships, and with their choice of subjects and career decisions. People celebrate this day by thanking advisors for their contribution to guiding young lives. They spend a lot of time and energy and are not always compensated well.

What better way to celebrate Advisor Appreciation Day than to appreciate the work of advisors? Send a thank-you note to the advisors in your education establishment. If you are an advisor yourself, then this is your day! Make the best out of it by celebrating with other advisors you know.
