Today's Kindness #124: July 20, 2022
One Small Step For Kindness 👩🚀👨🚀
National Moon Day on July 20th commemorates the day humankind first walked on the moon in 1969.
Caught up in the thrill of the adventure, millions of Americans watched the mission from Earth. Televisions around the world tuned in to the live broadcasts. The astronauts had a worldwide audience. As a result, all witnessed Armstrong stepping onto the moon's surface and described the event as "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
How do you make a leap of kindness? By just doing one small act of it. Once you do something kind, it spreads. That kindness could be as simple as complimenting someone all the way up to donating some food. Kindness is contagious you know. By doing just one small step of kindness, you can make one giant leap of kindness toward humankind.
"Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed."
- Neil Armstrong
