😵Step Into The Twilight Zone😵
What would you do if you woke up and you are the only one alive after a nuclear blast or maybe you find a stopwatch that stops real-time or maybe you were just experiencing something disturbing or unusual?
If you've experienced one of these events, then you've probably stepped into an area that we call The Twilight Zone.
Today is National Twilight Zone Day! If you haven't seen the show then you probably haven't gotten any of the references made above. The Twilight Zone was a TV show aired from 1959 to 1964. Each episode presents a stand-alone story in which characters find themselves dealing with often disturbing or unusual events, an experience described as entering "the Twilight Zone," often with a surprise ending and a moral.
Each episode can teach us about things that we can use in our lives. How in "A Kind of a Stopwatch" the story teaches a lesson about wasting one's potential on frivolous, unproductive, or immoral pursuits. I encourage you to watch some Twilight Zone today and see some of the messages in these episodes.
"You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!"
- Rod Serling, The Twilight Zone
